RoHS Statement

Affluent Electronics Inc. is an independent stocking distributor of electronic components and does not manufacture any of the components that it sells. Accordingly, Affluent Electronics Inc. is unable to represent or certify to our customers what materials are used in the manufacturing process of the components we provide for resale. Affluent Electronics is aware of the ROHS compliance deadline of July 1, 2006 and we are gathering information about manufactures and manufactures websites that may be useful to our customers in determining component compliance. Information may include product status, dates of product compliance and data that may be available from the manufacture to document the compliance. As these process move forward, websites and manufactures information provided to customers by Affluent Electronics Inc. are intended as possible research vehicles so customers may complete their due diligence and do not represent in any way a certification by Affluent Electronics Inc. as to the chemical content of any component. Chemicals used in the components or in the manufacturing process of the components are selected and used at the sole discretion of the manufacture and in many cases be considered intellectual property, Certification of any chemical content is the sole responsibility of the manufacture.

Affluent Electronics Inc. does not add any of the ROHS substances during its handling of the electronic components. Affluent Electronics Inc. does certify that it will ship the manufacture, the part number and meet any date code restrictions as they appear on your purchase order. Upon request, Affluent Electronics Inc. will supply to the buyer information if available that a component may or may not be ROHS compliant according to the manufactures website or data sheets.
